This is one of my favorite photos of my husband, Richard. I have taken tons of candid shots of Richard. We have been married long enough that it's difficult to buy gifts for him - (what could he possibly need besides the love of a good woman which he already has!) I make a yearly calendar for him which he loves.
This is the page for June 2013. Original photo taken in the jail house in Sherbrooke Village, Nova Scotia.
He's such a good sport!

Cute shot! And what an original idea to do a calendar for him! Will hve to keep that idea in my mind.
ReplyDeleteHe has to be a keeper what with putting up with your photographing him "in jail"! Two of my granddaughters take pictures of their family and the family dog for an annual calendar. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome photo!! I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I wanted to do this for my husband last year but ran out of time. The fact that he absolutely hates having his picture taken makes for slim pickings.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie for posing for you so seriously! Love those blue, blue eyes. Great idea for a gift! xx
ReplyDeleteYou're right that he's a good sport -- he's also a darned good model! I bet as soon as you finished with that picture, though eyes and face crinkled up into a huge smile -- maybe a laugh!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Pat. Hope you let him out for good behaviour!

ReplyDeleteMy goodness I haven't thought of photographing my husband on a regular basis...just the grand kiddies!! Or all of them together. This is a gentle reminder to do it more often. Love that composition and the bars! Way too clever.
