Island Lighthouse

There are tons of lighthouses in Nova Scotia and PEI.  While there, we were on a quest to find as many as we could.  Some were very nice.  Others rather mundane - just serviceable - rather plain vanilla, if you know what I mean.

This one is a beauty!  Even though it was a gray rainy day - the white on the lighthouse really pops.

    Such a lovely photo! I love the bright colors of the lighthouse against the sea. I hope you are enjoying your trip. My Grandfather came from Nova Scotia and I have always wanted to go. xo

    I really love this one! It's so clean and the red and white just pops! I think I would have overshot photos on that one! Looks like you were there on a perfect day, too! What a pretty vista, too!

    In three weeks I get to see my very first lighthouse. I am excited!! Though it won't be nearly as beautiful as this one :-)

    I love lighthouses. One of my most favorite paintings that I did early in art was of a lighthouse. It is focused perfectly in the photo.
