Weathered Wood

Mother Nature has a way of weathering wood that makes the ordinary extraordinary.  She is not as kind to the human face, however!

    Gorgeous textures. I wish our society could learn to love and appreciate the markings and "age rings" upon the human flesh as well.

    That first one is a gorgeous image!! It's one of those where I think 'I wish I'd taken that!'

    I love weathered wood. Combined with a seascape, it's timeless and soothing. Love it.
