This Diva Is Going Places!

Next month I'm going to Chicago for a visit.  This will be a great trip. A time to reconnect with my children and grandchildren.

I started thinking about travel in general and created this journal spread.

gesso on journal pages; addition of torn map

 water soluble crayons

addition of torn decorative paper;  stamped circles (acrylic paints)

addition of postage stamps, torn calendar page, hand drawn image, stamped text, ephemera

Go to Pink Saturday for more inspiration!

  17. Hi Pat - what a great journal and I hope you have a wonderful time visiting family. My family lives a few hours away and we don't get to see each other near enough. Thanks for visiting and saying hello. The font I use is right in the "design" section of blogger - I don't know the name of it but when you pull up the fonts - there will be a list where you can view them. Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Easter to you...

Love your art journal work. I just returned to Ukraine from the U.S. and I did a travel journal while there(3.5 months). I'm following you now both from AB and Bloggerettes. Would love it if you followed on my blog too.
